IF I Have Hair Transplant with Cell Therapy, Will My Result Be Better?

Hair loss is a very common condition in both men and women. Hair loss, also known as androgenic alopecia, continues until the average age of 35. However, some studies have shown that inordinate hair loss continues until the age of 70 which affects 70% of men and 40% of women. This is the most common cause of hair loss.

Hair loss is a serious problem because I assure, what you will hear now will surprise you. It has also been scientifically proven that hair loss causes serious psychological destruction in people's lives; It can lead to problems that cannot be simplified at all, such as depression, decreased quality of life, lack of self-confidence, anti-social personality and serious personality disorders.

Today, only 2 drugs have been developed and FDA approved to deal with these problems. It has been found the fact that the purpose of use of phenisteride and minoxidil drugs is different and the side effects observed afterwards. However, these drugs could not give the expected effect, in addition to various side effects, they were temporary and insufficient.

Recently developed stem cell treatments have also been using for hair loss and hair transplantation. Scientific studies have shown us that the stem cells used adapt to their environment and transform into cells there. Based on these studies, scientists have turned to stem cell treatments that focus on re-activating existing and newly transplanted hair follicle stem cells and keeping them healthier, thereby increasing their growth, regeneration and development. These treatments are also among the most popular treatments of recent times.

Scientists have used stem cell-based approaches. However, in the last ten years, to prove their effectiveness, even with a limited number of clinical studies, they have seen that stem cell-based treatment and supportive applications have been much more successful and promising than applications without stem cells. However, although these studies are promising, larger and more robust double-blind controlled studies are needed to further evaluate the precise mechanisms of stem cell-based approaches, the potential and safety of preventing hair loss and increasing uptake of transplanted hair.
